Pink Houses are a group of musicians that have devoted years to writing, recording and performing music.
The personnel is:
Doug Hoyt - Vocals, Guitar
Doug Hoyt has been writing, recording and performing music for over 30 years. Doug is a songwriter who has released multiple albums and is well studied in the pop songwriting of american and british rock n roll. He has recorded and produced projects for a wide variety of artists. Doug also spent 14 years as a faculty member of New England School of Communications, where he helped to build their Audio Engineering Program and taught multiple classes on the subject of recording music.
Jeffrey Brayne - Drums, Vocals
Jeffrey Brayne has 20 years experience of professional music performance as a drummer, lead
guitarist, lead vocalist and band leader in the NJ/NYC area and 10 years experience in musical
performance in the New England area. He’s performed with several successful club and
wedding bands as well as backed up famous Oldies acts such as The Coasters and Kathy
Young. He also leads the successful recording artist Shutterwax with two full album releases
and numerous singles releases as well has performed studio work for numerous artists over the
Jeff is also a large-format photographer and oil painter and currently resides with his wife and
four children in Kittery, ME.
Ken Lloyd - Bass, Vocals
Ken Lloyd is a multi-genre bassist who thrives on playing good music in different styles. He has gigged in Portland- and Boston-area bands for 30 years including hard-driving rock and roll, pop dance bands, jazz bands of different sizes, folkie acts, funk, pop country, community chorus, church bands and the like. He enjoys recording as well, including completed sessions and/or videos with Doug Hoyt, Cristina LaPoint-Smalley, Sally Davis, CuppaGroove, Cobblestones, Mainestream Jazzmasters and Gil Donatelli Band.
Justin Carver - Guitar, Vocals
Justin Carver has been drawn to playing music and performing for others from a very early age. He has been playing professionally in many capacities for over 20 years in cover bands, original bands and studio recording. Justin also plays bass, drums, keys and is learning to play the mandolin. Currently his other projects are an acoustic duo with his wife and special guests which is very active as well as sitting in with other local bands. Justin lives with his wife and 3 children in Auburn, ME.
